Indian Head Massage
 
 
Massage has traditionally always been an important part of life in India and it is passed down through the family. It has been practised for over a thousand years and it was originally used as a grooming routine for women, barbers also use a more stimulating and invigorating head massage. Oils are used when massaging the head to encourage healthy, strong and beautiful hair. Babies are massaged every day from birth as it is believed that it improves bonding and good health. From three to six they are massaged regulary then they are taught and share massages with the whole family which is done on a regular basis.
